The chosen charities are Headway and Temple Street Children’s hospital.

Headway is an organisation that helps to bring positive change in the lives of those affected by Acquired Brain Injury. It is estimated that Acquired Brain Injury is a condition affecting up to 30,000 people living in Ireland between the ages of 16-65. Brain injury is the foremost cause of death and disability in young people.

Temple Street is the first port of call for tens of thousands of children every year suffering from every kind of illness and injury imaginable. Their aim is to help sick children by making their stay in hospital less distressing for them and their families, by funding the purchase of medical equipment, developing new services, funding research and developing new treatment facilities.
